How does the 2V0-41.24 exam relate to the previous VCP-NV exam versions?
The 2V0-41.24 exam is the current version of the VCP-NV exam, updated to cover the latest NSX features and capabilities. Previous versions, such as 2V0-41.23, are retired and no longer offered.
Do I need to earn a lower-level VMware certification before taking the VCP-NV exam?
No. VMware does not require a prerequisite certification for the VCP-NV exam. However, VMware recommends hands-on experience with NSX and vSphere before attempting the exam.
Is there a hands-on lab component in the 2V0-41.24 exam?
The exam is primarily multiple-choice and multiple-response. VMware does not currently include a separate hands-on lab section in the VCP-NV exam.
What is the retake policy if I fail the 2V0-41.24 exam?
You must wait at least 24 hours after a failed attempt before retaking the exam. Subsequent attempts require a 14-day waiting period. There is no limit on the number of attempts.
