This page explains what information Examers.io collects, how we use it, the cookies we set, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be clear about the rest.

Who we are

Examers.io (“Examers”, “we”) operates a free certification practice-question platform. You can browse and practise without an account; some features require one.

Information we collect

• Account information — if you create an account, your email address and a securely hashed password.
• Usage information — pages viewed, practice activity, and general device/browser data, used to operate and improve the service.
• Cookies and similar technologies — described below.

Cookies

• Essential — required for the site to work (e.g. keeping you signed in). These cannot be switched off.
• Preferences — remember choices such as display settings.
• Analytics — help us understand which pages are useful (e.g. Google Analytics), loaded only where permitted by your consent.
• Advertising — not currently used. When advertising is enabled in future, third-party vendors including Google may set cookies to serve ads.

Advertising & Google AdSense

Advertising is currently disabled. When enabled, we intend to use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites, and you will be able to opt into personalized or receive non-personalized ads where required. We will update this section and request the appropriate consent before any ads go live.

Your consent choices

Where consent is required (for example, in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), you will be able to accept, reject, or manage non-essential cookies and advertising, and change your choice at any time. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not block access to practice content. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.

How we use information & sharing

To provide and secure the service, remember preferences, measure and improve content, and communicate about your account. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers (hosting, analytics, and — in future — advertising) and where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

Retention, security & children

We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete or anonymise it. We use industry-standard safeguards, though no method is perfectly secure. Examers is not directed to children under 16.

Examers.io is an independent learning platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of any certification body or exam provider. Organization names, exam codes and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
