How does the PCEP-30-02 exam relate to the upcoming PCEP-30-03 version?
PCEP-30-03 is an updated exam version scheduled for release in Q3 2026. The PCEP certification remains active, and this routine update does not affect the five-year validity of credentials already earned.
Do I need to earn a lower-level certification before taking PCEP?
No. The official prerequisites state 'None'. Prior experience is recommended but not required.
How do I schedule and take the PCEP exam?
Create a Test Candidate account at TestNow, purchase an exam voucher from the OpenEDG Voucher Store, log in, enter the voucher code, perform a diagnostics check, check in, and launch your exam session. Online proctoring is the default global delivery mode.
What are the retake policies if I fail the PCEP exam?
You must wait 7 days after a failed attempt before retaking. If you purchased a voucher with a free retake, the Get Free Retake button becomes active in your Exam History after the waiting period. There is no limit to the number of retakes.
Is there a hands-on or lab component in the PCEP exam?
